Executive Chef and Pitmaster Daniel Diersen leads the team at Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, the beloved Atlanta BeltLine staple from Electric Hospitality.
A graduate of Johnson and Wales with an Associates in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, Diersen brings a wealth of knowledge to his culinary endeavors and is passionate about sharing learnings with his team.
Throughout the years, Diersen has worked at a number of prominent Atlanta barbecue spots including Loyal Q and Brew, Fox Bros BBQ, and Woods Chapel BBQ. Joining the Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall team in 2022, Diersen developed and implemented the concepts first-ever barbecue program. In addition to training team members, Diersen also helped in creating a new menu with a special emphasis on barbecue.
