Colman Andrews is an internationally known food writer and editor. Now vice-president and editorial director of TheDailyMeal.com, a food and drink mega-site, he was the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Saveur, once described as “the ultimate food magazine.” The author of nine books on food — including a biography of chef Ferran Adrià, a restaurant-based memoir, and cookbooks about Catalan, Italian, Irish, and British cuisines — he is the winner of eight James Beard Awards, including the M.F.K. Fisher Distinguished Writing Award. His book The Country Cooking of Ireland was the 2010 James Beard Foundation Cookbook of the Year.
