Jamie Allred is the Executive Chef/co owner of Fortify Kitchen and Bar and Fortify Pi in downtown Clayton, GA. Fortify Kitchen and Bar opened in the spring of 2014. Fortify highlights seasonal menus highlighting nearly 20 farms in the North Georgia Mountains. Since its inception Jamie and his business partner, Jack Nolan, have earned many awards, including top 100 restaurants in the nation voted by Open Table, numerous trip advisor awards, 2016 business of the year in Rabun County, and the Silver Spoon award for the state of Georgia. Jamie has also been recognized by Best Chefs of America since 2013. Fortify Pi opened in the summer of 2016 and is located adjacent to Fortify Kitchen and Bar and brings Jamie’s local food mentality to craft pizzas, house made pasta, and sandwiches. Jamie is a graduate of the culinary program at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College and was Executive Chef at Lake Rabun Hotel before opening Fortify Kitchen and Bar.
