R&A Bailey & Co. is the producer of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur. Based in Dublin, Ireland, the company is part of Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol. Baileys is a proper adult treat, launched in Ireland in 1974 and now available in 153 markets worldwide. We aim to make a positive difference to our communities and our planet; after all, treating is an act of caring, not just for ourselves, but for the world around us. Since Baileys launched, we’ve paid a premium for top quality milk from our farmer-owned co-operative dairy supplier. Through them, we ensure high standards of animal welfare and traceability in the milk that transforms into Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur. In recent years we’ve reduced the amount of water used in our factories and switched to 100% renewable electricity to power them. We pay our employees a living wage and ensure they have access to leading benefits, like six months paid family leave for parents. B Corp certification is the latest milestone for Baileys in the brand’s sustainability journey and supports Diageo’s wider 10-year sustainability action plan “Society 2030: Spirit of Progress”, designed to make a positive impact on the world by 2030.
