Originally from Chicago, Chef Markie McCullough Weinstein brings a rich blend of culinary experiences to her role as Executive Chef at Oak Steakhouse Highlands. Having lived in multiple states and traveled the world, she draws inspiration from a diverse range of cultures and flavors, incorporating them into her seasonal dishes.
Chef Weinstein has a true passion for showcasing the best ingredients at their peak, believing that food should tell a story—connecting diners to the seasons, the land, and the journey that brings it all together. With years of experience under her belt, she’s known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to elevate classic steakhouse fare while keeping it fresh and exciting.
When she’s not in the kitchen, Chef Weinstein enjoys traveling with her husband, Matt—also a talented chef. Together, they share a deep appreciation for culinary exploration, often bringing new techniques and flavors into their respective kitchens. Chef Weinstein’s commitment to sustainable sourcing and seasonally driven menus reflects her dedication to creating food that’s not only delicious but also thoughtfully crafted.
