Montgomery Sky Farm

Taylor and Fran Montgomery are the passionate and hardworking owners of Montgomery Sky Farm and Final Run Rescue, two ventures rooted in compassion, sustainability, and service in Western North Carolina. With decades of combined expertise—Taylor as an executive chef for over 25 years and Fran with more than 20 years in veterinary medicine—the couple brings a unique blend of hospitality, sustainable farming and private dining experiences to the heart of their farm operation. Coupled and supported by immense talent, Chef Cat Beraud, this trio is looking forward to their third year attending HFW.

Taylor’s culinary journey has been defined by creativity, leadership, and a deep commitment to community. His expertise has not only shaped remarkable dining experiences but also fueled large-scale humanitarian efforts—most notably when he and Fran led the charge to feed over 15,000 people in the wake of Hurricane Helene. His ability to mobilize resources and inspire volunteers speaks to both his professional acumen and personal values.

Fran’s extensive background in veterinary care forms the heart of Final Run Rescue, a nonprofit where she dedicates herself to the rehabilitation and rehoming of neglected animals.

Together, Taylor and Fran have created more than a farm or a rescue operation— Through Montgomery Sky Farm, they promote sustainable agriculture, a deep appreciation for where food comes from and exceptional private dining experiences.
